A NOTE TO OUR CUSTOMERS & NEIGHBORS

First off, we just wanted to thank you for being part of our Dinner Delivery service and No Neighbor Left Behind program.  We’ve been so incredibly blessed by your support, and the generosity of our amazing community, both near and far.  To date, we’ve managed to prepare approximately 1,890 donated meals.  Our incredible chefs, volunteers, and staff have worked hard to bring healthy, delicious meals to you and our community.

As we settle into a long-term SIP, we are transitioning yet again.  Beginning tomorrow, we will be suspending our dinner delivery service and No Neighbor Left Behind program.  Though we’ve been blessed with an outpouring of donations over the last several weeks, we have been running the program at near-empty coffers for a few weeks now, with all chefs and staff volunteering their time, expertise, and at times, their own money.

The good news is that we’ve gained a 501c3 fiscal sponsorship with the Rotary Club of Sausalito!  It will still take some weeks to set up and see what funds we can raise and on what budget (or lack of) we can expect to operate.  We hope to resume some version of the No Neighbor Left Behind program soon.  Details will be available on this page as they develop.

Thank you again for your generous support and be well!

Best Regards,

David, Kristine, Tre, & Kristin

Sausalito, Marin city, and Mill Valley - Dinner Delivery

email: info@portandprovisions.com

SINCE MANY PEOPLE are staying inside during this time, we are offering home delivery of meals every Wednesday and Friday. All our meals are thoughtfully sourced, using local, organic and regenerative foods when possible. We are shopping for our produce at Marin County farmer’s markets to support our local farmers and bring you the best food available. Due to our hyper-local sourcing, there may be some variation in menu. Substitutions may occur the day of as supply chains have been severely interrupted. All of our meals are nutritious, delicious, affordable and will boost your healthy biome and resistance to illness. Our staff adheres to strict California health codes and all CDC recommended procedures for food production—putting a whole lotta love into your food. Deliveries will take place between 5:30-6:30. You put out a cooler or box on your porch or near your front door. All food is cooked and the temps are cool this time of day, so you can put a ziploc with ice or ice pack in the cooler/box if you'd like, but the cooler is mostly to make sure it doesn’t blow away or the food is eaten by a critter and to minimize contact. Please bring it inside and eat or refrigerate as soon as possible after delivery. Leftovers kept in fridge should be good for a couple of days. We will use compostable packaging to the best of our ability.

NO NEIGHBORS LEFT BEHIND PROGRAM

No neighbors will be left behind in this crisis! As such, we have set up a No Neighbors Left Behind service that provides free meals to those who cannot afford it. Anyone who is staying inside due to health reasons and is in need of food, but can’t afford to pay, email us and we’ll get food to you at no charge. Those of you wishing to contribute to our No Neighbors Left Behind, please contact the Rotary Club of Sausalito. Any amount is appreciated! Please note that we are a private business and not currently a 501(c)(3) charity. While we are currently conducting a charitable mission and will use your contribution exclusively to feed hungry people, your donation is not tax deductible. We are headquartered at Davey Jones Deli in the Bait Shop in Sausalito, California, aka Dredgetown.
